So, of dinner, course besides drinks are probably served by friendly, slender, well endowed, mostly Eastern EU Gaslight Girls wearing ‘quite low cut’ tops, frills covering their backsides, fishnets and nylons, and highheelssimilar to a Playboy bunny outfit, minus the tail. Water and bread always were dispensed by elegantly dressed busboys. Known the original Gaslight Club was in such big demand, that it had to move to a larger space at 13 Huron that featured the bar from the infamous Everleigh Club.

Now look, the first Gaslight Club opened on October 27, 1953 in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, by Burton ‘Brownea’ Colonel Sanders look alike that sincerely felt he was a mountain lion in a former health. Second Chicago location was added at Palmer House. Until a brand new Playboy Club opened up the other day in Las Vegas, Gaslight Club O’Hare was its solely one kind to survive. While filming scenes there for Butterfield 8, in 1956, NY Club opened in a plush rather old mansion and featured Elizabeth Taylor as a Gaslight Girl, for which she won and Academy Award. By late 80s and later 90s, interest in ‘members only’ clubs substantially declined and Gaslight and Playboy Clubs were closed with increasing frequency.
