In the evening we ventured out to some nearest restaurants and they all got 1 thumbs up by me.

This particular weekend was a Birthday Celebration and upon check in, a bottle of Veuve Cliquot was sent to the room.

The Brazilian Daiquiri is fantastic, as was probably everything and desserts and yummy.

So that’s a favorite restaurant of ours for it’s Pantelis! Often, will you please rethink the spelling to Pantelis.

I made the mistake during booking but was not offered a way to solve or switch this, I actually tried to get this changed and was unable to do that by making request on line.

The lion and compass were one exceptional restaurant in that Silicon part Valley.

a lot of deals were done over drinks. However, the lion and compass holds plenty of meal memories for people who have worked in this area all of their careers, even if there always were a great deal of places in this place now. Everyone went to the lion and compass. It’s still a wonderful place for a quiet dinner or meeting with mates. That’s where it starts getting intriguing. Food has often been big.

You usually can hear ourselves talk over dinner. Now for the most part there’re vast amount of options in this location. So this time food was gorgeous but service was terrible. I think they work by stations and if you’re outside of their station, they don’t view it as their responsibility. We had in the basic dining area and there were mostly a tables third occupied. I had lunch with an acquaintance merely before Christmas and was pleasantly surprised with, no doubt both the food and service. There were a slew of waiters milling around but our waiter was solely reluctantly accessible and the various different waiters ignored my requests for assistance. Now regarding aforementioned fact… Should recommend. Food was excellent. It’s a well-known fact that the atmosphere was extremely gentle., no doubt, the seabass was cooked perfect and the added nut crunch gave it a good mix on the palate.

It’s an interesting fact that the brandy chili prawns and porcini mushroom ravioli -all were good, We shared a couple appetizers.

It is a definite goto place and very recommend.

Arranged a team dinner of Staff was highly friendly and focused their attention throughout our meal time. Our team was seated in a semi peronal area which made it a bit more relaxed and noise level kept to a minimum. Now look, the location looks like an individual club. Friendly and attentive staff, excellent food. He was really attentive and good, I had a rough time understanding waiter but we virtually got there. Therefore the food was AMAZING preparation, flavor and presentation was exquisite. I have gone to this spot for years.My dining companion, however, was not familiar with the place. For example, can’t wait to go back. Actually the host at this restaurant has been so cordial and actually makes any trip here peculiar.

She respected it.

It was our anniversary, and the food, wine and atmosphere, good but unhurried service and excellent food, helped make it a peculiar evening.

Awesome. As a result, perfect restaurant for that especial occasion. Although, under no circumstances disappoints. If mostly the food was excellent. Guess it’s time is past, old enough Silicon Valley. Wine, highly reasonably priced and initmate ambiance. Service was ten on a scale of 5. Lamb Rack was p I’ve ever had. Pricey but worth it. Oftentimes good for a romantic date. Amazing food with good service. Off bar in library area, we didn’t take in the fundamental dining room. It’s abeing that we had it so rather fast.

I shall not recommend this for my business associates for dinner or private dinners.

After consuming food my salad. I planned to order a Caesar salad and wine prior to the dinner, by so tables on one and the other sides of us were filled. Things went poorly. We were so disappointed with wait time, we didn’t order dessert, merely so we may leave.. Nobody apologized for extreme lateness, or clarified why the table next to us got their dinner rather fast while we waited for awhile. On p of that, table beside us got their dinner 15 minutes before us. We arrived prior to our reservation time and were seated promptly. Nonetheless, mortons, Bourbon Steak, and all that and these restaurants made sure we had a good anniversary experience.

Really disappointing, I’m pretty sure I didn’t think we will have to verbally mentioned it.

This restaurant is for a while, steak was prepared as expected but for price they feel So there’re identic restaurants I will choose over Lion and Compass with a better dining experience/ambiance.

I’ve made these same notes in past at restaurants like. In my Open Table reservation they had mentioned that it was our 13 year anniversary and restaurant completely ‘over looked’ this note and did nothing exceptional for us. You should make it into account. Mostly, chicken looked amazing and was well liked by my fellow diners.

I had the soup, fairly good and the day peculiar, the halibut.

Side items were tasty, it was a bit dry.

Mushroom appetizer was advised by waitress and was virtually good -None of it was spared by us. We all enjoyed entrees we ordered for lunch.a couple of us even used bread to get yummy all sauce. I went to Lion Compass to have a business discussion not to be dumped in bar. I was placed in bar on a tiny two p and ld they’ve been a solitary tables accessible for Open Table. I have to make especial request with the manager to accommodate us.

We had to wait 45mts prior to getting the table.

They did not have my name on reservation list.

Highly disappointed in using Round table to make reservations. Food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. Highly enjoyable evening. Seriously. Valet was extremely friendly, set the ne for night. We weren’t neglected, we went on a Monday and it was still pretty busy. Although, we should be back for sure. Consequently, ambiance was excellent, cheerful staff. That’s interesting right? Ok my fiancée for her Saints Day. In reality, food and deserts were nice but service was way below par.

I used to move to the Lion Compass on a regular basis and liked it.

If you haven’t been there for quite a while give it a try.

I planned to try it once again and That’s a fact, it’s back! Big food and excellent service! Have you heard of something like this before? You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Few years ago I thought they’d lost their way with mediocre food and inconsistent service. Essentially, place smells musty. Undoubtedly it’s definitely old enough and needs a renovation. Lights are always significantly better ambiance throughout the day with sunlight by the palm court. Good food. Although, pretty dry overcooked chicken. Possibly another dish should have been better. Service polite but slow and inattentive.

Pretty sad and run down.

Shan’t return.

Food passable but uninspired. Lion and Compass successively delivers good food, good service, and an enjoyable experience. Actually good ambience, good location, hundreds of parking, cloth tablecloths and napkins -even at lunch, big food, p notch service. Excellent choice for a business meeting and business casual meetings. Good food, have done here for 10+ years and should still host events here. Friday nights are pretty quiet. Then the food was probably exceptional, service has always been big, and that’s a place that they usually relish for either a business lunch or an evening date.

I do recommend to try a dessert Actually the atmosphere is awesome for a real conversation, and location dead simple to find/get to. Some information usually can be looked for by going online.
